1. Considering the development opportunities available to you this year, how have you applied what you learned?
I have applied what I learned by working each skill on every project that I have to do. Opportunities that were available to me this year I have use information that I learn throughout this year; I have used them in projects, assignments ,ect that were related to the information that I learn this year and the previous years.
2. What strength do you possess that you can use at a higher level next year?
I think that some strengths that I have in technology is working with PowerPoint and Microsoft word I would be able to help in excel but I will have to take my time to figure it out in some parts. Next year I can use the strengths that I have in these areas.
3. What obstacles must you work trough so you can meet all your goals for this year?
One obstacle that I went throughout this year where turning some assignments late which made me have a lower grade. Another obstacle that that I need to work on is to meet my goals is stop being shy and getting nervous when presenting projects in class; I need to work on speaking louder so the audience is able to hear me. Not only work/try harder, but work more on the requirements for a good presentation.
4. Discuss what you have learned during the class and how it will assist you in achieving further academic and work related goals.
What I have learned in this class is how to work with Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Access. Having skills on this area is really helpful because it will help me on doing presentations in school in other words in school work. It would not only help me on this but also for work and applying for college, in case they ask me to do an assessments, and going to college is one of my goals.
5. If you could do any assignment over this year, which one would it be and why?
If I could do any assignment over this year I would do one that uses Microsoft word and PowerPoint related because I understand more of these two sections of Microsoft; I’m better working in this sections that in the other sections of Microsoft.
6. What are three words you would describe this class?
Three words that I would describe this class would be interesting, educational and fun. I think that this class is interesting in where you learn how to work with technology; because every time technology is getting advance. Educational, I think that this class is educational because every time that we go inside the class I learn something new and by that we get an education. I say that the class is fun because we do projects that are interesting and fun to do.
7. How did your computer skills grow or improve the course of the year?
My computer skills have improved by learning more in each section of Microsoft Processor. My computer a lot and know for my projects that requires PowerPoint, Microsoft Processor, Excel, etc. Specially know that we are doing finals and all of them are projects. Improving my skills by this time I know that ‘m going to good in my projects.
8. What where your greatest challenges or lessons learned?
The greatest challenges for me where in HTML at the beginning because then I understood a little bit more. Well in Excel I did had a little trouble in the If statement and doing graphs with the data. Another challenge for me was working with Access when creating the video database assignment because most of the time I got confuse, but my greatest challenge was working with HTML even though I like it because I got to make my own web page.

Reflection
The outcome that I want for my project is spreading awareness. I want to spread awareness because many people don’t have an idea of what are the symptoms of childhood cancer. I would like to spread awareness especially on parents that have children’s or teenagers. I think that is really important to spread awareness on this disease that could happen to any children. I would like to spread awareness on childhood cancer because there are children, babies, and teenagers suffering from this disease. The ages that are more diagnosed with childhood cancer is 5 years to 9 years old.

What have I learn
Three facts about my topic:
*Childhood cancer is the second cause of death in children's.
*How does cancer forms in the body.
* Cancer is the number one disease killer in children's-more than asthma, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, and AIDS combined.

Why did I chose Cancer in Children
I chose to talk about children that are suffering from cancer because the number children diagnose with cancer is increasing each year. I am trying to make a difference by helping, so it could be more recognized and people would donate money to come up with cures and saving the lives of innocent children suffering from cancer. It breaks my heart of only thinking that innocent lives die each year, each day; they fight each day, hour, minute to be a survivor, but sometimes it is impossible for them. What actually makes me more joyless is that babies and children suffer because of cancer.
There are different types of cancer that devastates children and parents lives everyday. The most common types of cancer that affect children are: leukemia lymphoma, brain cancer, bone cancer; but they are not the only ones that affect children. Unfortunately 46 children are diagnose with cancer each day. Regrettably, four thousand children die each year of cancer. Only 82% of children's survive of Leukemia, 71% survive of brain cancer, 88% survive from kidneys cancer, and only 69% survive from bone cancer. Sometimes cancer is able to be cure only if they dectect it on time. Cancer is the number one death of children and the second is accidents. Symptoms of cancer in a children: unexpected weight loss, bleeding, easy bruising, eye or vision changes, frequently hedaches and vomiting, constant infections, constant tiredness, and limping, ect. The number of cancer in children is more than asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies, and pediatric AIDS combined.
